A busy weekend putting up posters for the Roadshows.
Key points in Baldwins Gate – bus stops, shops, school drop-off points and outside the doctors’ – on Saturday morning, followed by Chorlton in the afternoon, on foot along the A51 from Hill Chorlton to Stableford and back.
Maer and Whitmore parishes from Weymouth to Butterton on Sunday morning, with a detour to the Aston Lane junction at Woore – this time by car. The morning turned beautifully sunny after the fog began to lift. At Butterton I took a break from posting and walked up Shutlane to the riding school and back. On the way home from Butterton the fog closed in again.
After a quick, late lunch, off on foot to Madeley Park Wood and Camp Hill. A dank, dreary and foggy afternoon reminded me that in spite of the mild weather it is, after all, November now. On the way home, as the evening closed in, another session to complete the posting in Baldwins Gate.
